Our commitment to quality

Since 2003 within the Jacob Group we have always thought that our industrial development should go together with a structured plan for quality. This is essential for the success of our Company project.

We cannot imagine succeeding without obtaining the necessary certification; this is why our commitment to quality is not limited to the products we manufacture but also covers Jacob’s internal procedures and customer services.

Pobi (our pre-fabricated wooden panels and frames subsidiary) received the ASQ SOCOTEC Certificate in 2004 and it has since been renewed annually. The next goal is the ISO 9001-V2000 Certificate.

 

For 2007 we are taking steps to obtain the ISO 14001 (Environment) and ISO 18001 (Safety) Certificates.

These commitments are everybody’s business; they are not just to do with the Directors, the Quality Manager or the Quality Committee but also depend on the involvement of all the Group’s staff, its suppliers and joint contractors.

The success of our Company project will not be down to luck. We have decided to succeed in this by respecting well-defined rules “ Every action of business, of conception, of manufacture and delivery of our products will happen with order, rigour, optimisation and the responsibility of everyone.”
